Fun and games on a night of terror

The family Halloween party on Saturday at the Ketton Club was a hair raising night to remember.
More than 45 children turned up in fabulous spooky outfits, making judging the children's fancy dress competition very hard for club steward John Dillon.
The adults did not let the side down either, with Frankenstein, Dracula, witches and ghosts making appearances throughout the evening!
The fear-filled party games were organised for the kids but they were having so much fun the adults wanted to play too.
A game in which jam-filled doughnuts were hung from a washing line and each person had to eat one without using their hands caused much hilarity, as jam got everywhere.
Traditional apple bobbing also proved popular and the kids were much better at getting the apples than the adults.
Brains (cauliflower and spaghetti), fingers (asparagus), hearts (peeled tomatoes) and eyeballs (cherries and grapes) were among horrors in the bucket which children had to identify.
Tina Ellson, who came along with her three boys said: "It was a fantastic party. The boys really enjoyed themselves and it was a great way for everyone to get together and have some fun."
Trish Andrews and Tracey Howard, organizers of the event said: "The evening was tremendous. We could not decide who had the most fun, the children or the adults!
"It was a great way to bring families together and to experience some of what Ketton Club has to offer.
"We would like to thank everyone who came along to the party, to all the committee members and volunteers who helped make the evening a great success and to Sandra Preston for organizing the raffle."
Ketton Club has more events planned between now and the new year, including a children's Christmas party on Saturday December 20.
