Time for a real blitz on illegal driving Against a background of a 100 per cent increase in road traffic deaths in Rutland and reportedly the worst road traffic fatal/serious accident rate in the region during 2007/2008, I find it difficult to understand the council and police response to these significant statistics.

Lives at risk from fire cuts I write to raise my concerns about the recently reported proposed down-grading of Oakham fire station.

Why not vote on plans? I have no wish to enter into an everlasting exchange of letters but I do believe there are some serious democratic issues which need to be addressed in relation to the Big Build plan.

Off the air For many years now we have had the great pleasure of listening to a station that has played a great variety of music with quality DJs at the helm who became part of our life.
