On Saturday and Sunday a member of the Osprey team leads a guided walk to the Shallow Water hide on the Lyndon Nature Reserve at Rutland Water.
The walk takes you through the reserve's fantastic wildflower meadows with a chance of seeing singing Turtle Doves, hunting Barn Owls and a wealth of butterfly and dragonfly species.
Once in the hide, you'll be able to enjoy spectacular views of the Ospreys on their Manton Bay nest.
The walks are the price of a permit – £4 adults (£3 conc). Booking for these events is essential and can be made in person at the Lyndon centre, by phoning (01572) 737378 or by email to tmackrill@lrwt.org.uk
